Welcome To Kris's Kandles
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kris Doerr and I started making candles in my kitchen as a hobby after my husband gave me a home candle making kit as a gift. I was an avid user of all of the big-name candles that are on the market so this was a great gift for me. It was a very fun hobby that turned into Kris’s Kandles in a very short time. There were two reasons for this: The first reason was that everyone that came to our home LOVED the smells and colors of the candles that I was making. The second reason, I realized right away, was the candles that I was making burned longer and smelled better than the candles I bought from the popular stores and parties.
So, Kris’s Kandles was born, a fun hobby turned small business for me to provide a better candle to all my friends and family. It did not take long for me to also find out that everyone including myself wants something different. We added CUSTOM candles so you can order any scent and color combination that you choose. We also added birch and driftwood holders that my husband makes. We found that people really like locally-made product, so all the wood used to make the candle holders is repurposed from fallen trees, beaver chewed logs, and driftwood found in northern Minnesota. We both grew up in Minnesota, so it really is very exciting to be selling our product in the stores and towns we grew up visiting. We hope that Kris’s Kandles can bring as much enjoyment to your home as they have to ours.

Custom Kandles Fragrances
A Shakespeare said, "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." This conventional wisdom could also be applied to candles. A rose candle smells like a rose candle, no matter what it's called or what color it is. So why are rose candles ALWAYS red? Could it be that some people love the sent of roses but love the color blue or green? Maybe red clashes with the decorating. Maybe it's a wedding with dozens of the bride's favorite yellow roses on every table and a yellow rose candle would be the perfect compliment. This "out of the candle box" thinking was the impetitous behind Kris's Kandles. Kris wanted to make a better-smelling, longer-lasting, higher-quality scented candle that was not restricted to certain colors according to their scent.
Custom Holders
After you select your Custom Kandle, you can select between dozens of custom Kandle holders, ideal for both outdoor and indoor use. There are holders for every size candle - rock, birch, or even beautiful driftwood pieces that reflect Kris's Kandles Minnesota origins.
Gone was the notion that rose candles are always red, lilac candles are always lavender, vanilla candles are always off-white. Now you, the Customer, have the freedom to choose ANY scent in ANY color.
